In these uncertain climates one has to pay attention to detail especially when choosing suppliers like butchers, bakers & fish merchants.
Our butcher has just won lots of awards for his fine produce and we are very proud to be affiliated with them.
We have been using C&K meats as our preferred butcher since 1984 and for 29 years they have served us with top quality meat.

Roadworks Commenicing 20th May
Resurfacing of How End road (The road that is the turning for Houghton Conquest on the B530) is due to start on the 20th May 2013. The road is due to be closed for 5 days between the hours of 8.00am - 3.30pm.
We therefore advise any visitors using the B530 to take the Bedford Road turning instead. When coming into Houghton Conquest, turn right then drive past the Post Office, take the second turning at the next mini roundabout and then The Knife & Cleaver will be immediatley on your left.
